Our Master’s program in Operation Theatre Technology (OTT) has been designed to meet the growing demand of experts in the fields of Operation Theatre Management, Medical Ethics, Anaesthesia Technology and Post Operation Care.

Eligibility
This two-year program is designed to provide in depth knowledge and impart skills to assist in preparation of operation theatre before and during an elective or emergency surgery within 6 months-1 year internship in Fortis Hospital Network with responsibilities in managing the patients. The completion of internship is mandatory to enable students to obtain a M.Sc Operation Theatre Technology degree.
The post-graduate students must take part in seminars, short topic discussions, case discussions, journal club presentations and clinical postings. The academic training will include lab work, experimental work and dissertation. The program lays emphasis on Applied Anatomy & Physiology, Clinical Pharmacology, Clinical Microbiology, Medical Ethics, Anesthetic Techniques and CSSD Procedures. Operation Theatre Technologists are required across all hospitals for conduct of surgeries which include General Surgery, Ophthalmic Surgery, Orthopaedic, Gynecology Surgery, Plastic Surgery, ENT Surgery, Spinal Surgery and more.
