Youth as Voter: TV Show on R. Bharat shot at Chitkara Campus

‘Lalkar’ a program of R. Bharat – on voting awareness and ensuring that all exercise their right and vote responsibly during the General Election 2019, to make a real difference, was shot and recorded at Chitkara University campus.

Students & staff from various disciplines including Mass Communication, Management, Nursing, and Education, participated in the discussion and presented their opinion. The central theme of the discussion revolved around ‘Youth as Voter’ where expectations of the common man from their representatives in House and election agendas of various parties, was discussed. The show also touched upon – responsibilities of a citizen, development and its issues, youth as voter, and ethical voting practices. R. Bharat Anchor Mr Pradeep and Producers – Ms. Nilofer and Mr. Mani along with their team members ensured a fair and balanced discussion. The show was aired on R. Bharat on Saturday, May 18, 2019, at 7.30pm.
