Workshop on Radio Programme Production conducted

A two-day workshop by Radio Chitkara on script writing, recording and production of audio content was organized which proved to be a successful event.

Various faculty members and staff of the University took part in it and showed keen interest in radio program production.

The workshop began with giving details of current program being aired in 107.8 FM Radio Chitkara and various radio genres were highlighted.

The learners were exposed to writing ‘do’s and don’ts’ for radio and hands on experience on Sound Forge (audio editing software) was given. In a group exercise, they came up with their own programs, which was not only recorded but also edited and aired.

The staff of Radio station is planning similar workshops for students and local community so that the participation in community broadcast can be increased.
