Workshop on Coding for Medical Imaging Professionals

A Workshop on Coding for Medical Imaging Professionals was organised by Chitkara School of Health Sciences, at the Punjab campus, on May 28, 2019.

During the workshop, technical experts from CARING (Centre for Advanced Research in Imaging) by Mahajan Imaging – Dr. Murali Murugavel, Neuroscience Lead; Mr. Salil Gupta, Development Engineer; and Ms. Saumya Gaur, Product Lead; gave students hands-on training while speaking about the role of Artificial Intelligence in Medical Imaging to foster collaboration in application development using Radiant & Clear Canvas software & DCM4che and Python scripting, for diagnostic medical imaging.

Students were also apprised about the abundant and excellent career opportunities for AI-literate MIT students. This workshop opened a window towards a better understanding of the fundamental technology and the emergent field of machine learning.
