A theatrical journey was transcended in Chitkara University, Punjab on 20th April 2023 as it witnessed the ‘One on One Special’ Live Theatre Show: A Collage of Modern India featuring the amazing star cast from the legendary actor Rajit Kapur to Shivani Tanksale, Sohrab Ardeshir, Ajitesh Gupta, Vrajesh Hirji and Abhijit
The evening at the Exploretorium was a masterpiece of theatre, a stunning performance broken into six distinct acts. The show opened with a captivating portrayal of the daily struggles faced by a mother and housewife, infused with sharp humor and clever wit. Next, Rajit Kapur and Ajitesh Gupta took the stage, masterfully highlighting the empty promises made by our political leaders. As the night progressed, the audience was swept away by a rollercoaster of emotions and experiences, from the bipolar musings of a job interviewee to a hilarious take on the trials and tribulations of a travel ticket examiner.
The show’s narrative continued to unfold, seamlessly transitioning from the battle of love and war to the vivid and vibrant streets of New York’s bustling Bombay Street. Finally, the performance reached its climax, with a powerful depiction of a woman’s impending marriage and the struggles she faces in the journey to becoming a bride.
