Virtual National Youth Day Celebrations in the name of Swami Vivekananda

On the occasion of the birth anniversary of a great Indian philosopher- Swami Vivekananda, National Service Scheme, Chitkara University, Punjab celebrated National Youth Day on 12th January 2021 to honour his contributions to the country.

A virtual webinar on “Building an India of Vivekananda’s dreams” by Prof. Sudhir Baweja, Coordinator, Department of Philosophy, USOL, PU Chandigarh; former Co-ordinator Interdisciplinary Centre for Swami Vivekananda Studies, was organised by NSS department.

Furthermore, different departments under the aegis of NSS conducted Speech competition, Poster making competition and Essay writing event to mark the celebrations. Students of Chitkara University from various departments participated with great zeal and enthusiasm.
