Out of 100 students selected every year for the “Youth Exchange Program” abroad, Under Officer Japneet Kaur has been shortlisted to represent India in Singapore for Year 2016. She is one and only from the college and the “Only NCC Cadet” from the Directorate representing in Singapore.

Selected NCC cadets participate in Youth Exchange Program, which is a country to country exchange of cadets belonging to NCC. They participate in NCC activities of the host country to create an increased awareness and appreciation of each other’s socio-economic and cultural realities. NCC has a vibrant YEP with ten countries. The benefits of this program have been widely acknowledged. The cadets share strong bond with our YEP partners. As of now, more than 100 cadets proceed abroad on YEP annually and we are proud that Japneet is a part of the selected ones.
She will be learning the culture there and deriving every possible bit to make the experience more worthy. The NCC aims at developing character, comradeship, discipline, a secular outlook, the spirit of adventure and ideals of selfless service amongst young citizens. Further, it aims at creating a pool of organized, trained and motivated youth with leadership qualities in all walks of life, who will serve the Nation regardless of which career they choose.
We wish Japneet the best of everything in life.
