Kindness Act: Donation drive organised by NSS for the adopted villages

The National Service Scheme, Chitkara University, Punjab in association with Chitkara College of Hospitality and Management voluntarily contributed towards kindness by organizing a donation drive for the adopted villages – Kalomajra and Jhansla on 11th January 2021.

Stationery were donated to the school children of Govt. Elementary School, Kalomajra. Mr. Manjeet Singh, Sarpanch, Kalomajra, also show his presence in the drive.

The voluntaries believed that a little concern and support towards the betterment of people bring cheer and happiness in their life. They added that happy faces were observed while distributing Blankets and Woollen clothes to the underprivileged.

Furthermore, Donation boxes were handed over to Mr. Raj Kumar, Sarpanch of village Jhansla with the support of Hostel students.
