The trip was organised by CSH for International students with the purpose of getting them acquainted with the Indian hotel industry and its various operational departments and what could be better than JW Marriott to give them the required departmental introduction.

During the trip, Mr. Akash Datta, who is presently doing his internship in the hotel, was assigned to conduct the trip. Mr. Datta is also a student of final-year B.Sc HMCT at Chitkara University, Punjab. During the trip the students were taken to various areas including pool, laundry, banquet, employee dining hall, spa, gymnasium etc.

This trip was also important to make them understand the various departments and services provided to a guest in a five star hotel.

After the trip, a lunch was organised for the students in Pashtun restaurant situated in sector 35, Chandigarh. A warm welcome and a sumptuous meal was offered to the students, who were more than happy to see a traditional Indian setup and in fact they also learned a few things about the Indian cuisine, dining habits and etiquette.
