Dr Namrata Sandhu presents paper at fifth PAN IIM World Management Conference at IIM Lucknow
Dr Namrata Sandhu, Associate Professor, Chitkara Business School, attended the fifth PAN IIM World Management Conference at IIM Lucknow. She presented a paper titled ‘Behavioral red flags of fraud: An ex-post assessment of types and frequencies’. Her paper was well received.
The conference evolved around the concept of ‘Digital India’ and was a big platform for academicians, entrepreneurs etc. Dr Namrata stated that, “While the benefits that emanate from the use of digital technologies are highly noteworthy, it also poses several challenges that cannot be sidelined. In order to stay germane to the framework, organizations need to effectively digitize their activities. It is important to manage the ‘Digital India’ movement more wisely and effectively in order to derive benefit out of it.”
The PAN-IIM conference was an attempt to collect all stakeholders, including academicians, researchers, businesses, policy makers, politicians, scientists, entrepreneurs, students, civil society, rural change makers and any interested individuals in order to allow them to share their experiences, ideas, viewpoints and combined acumen. Without doubt, ‘Digital India’ has the capacity to allow citizens to explore more. It helps prioritize learning over education, imparts skills to people, generate employment opportunities for people, add value to healthcare, boost economic growth, transform businesses and make India progress by leaps and bounds.
Dr Namrata stated that the conference invited submissions of conceptual/empirical research papers from all stakeholders of ‘Digital India’ for oral and poster presentations. Papers that actually addressed the main theme of the conference were preferred and her paper certainly attracted a lot of attention. She explained her paper well that covered all the aspects of the topic well.
