Chitkara University’s Dr. Amit Mittal Addresses ACARI 2023 as Speaker and Deputy Chair

Dr. Amit Mittal, Pro Vice Chancellor (Research Programs), Chitkara University, played a prominent role as a speaker and deputy chair at the prestigious Africa Conference on Academic and Research Integrity (ACARI 2023), which Middlesex University Dubai hosted. The conference, held at the Knowledge Park Campus in Dubai from December 17th to 19th, 2023, witnessed active participation from Chitkara University, which proudly served as an academic partner for the event.

ACARI 2023 garnered recognition from reputable bodies such as the European Network for Academic Integrity (ENAI) and the International Center for Academic Integrity (ICAI). This collaborative effort involved esteemed institutions including Middlesex University Dubai, UAE; University of Wollongong in Dubai, UAE; Canakkale Onsekiz Mart University, Turkey; Lahore LEADS University, Pakistan; and King Fahd Medical City, Saudi Arabia.

Dr. Amit Mittal’s pivotal role extended beyond being a speaker; he was also invited as a distinguished panellist to deliberate on the theme “Global Education, Local Values.” Alongside representatives from renowned universities in the AMEA region, Dr. Mittal shared insights into fostering an integrity-conscious culture within educational campuses throughout the AMEA area. The discussion aimed at developing strategies for the future, uniting leaders, educators, practitioners, and researchers from both within and outside the region on a common platform.
