Chitkara University NSS Department celebrates the ‘Clean India Programme’

The Department of National Service Scheme of Chitkara University, Punjab under the capable guidance of the Department of Youth Affairs, Ministry of Youth Affairs and sports celebrated the Clean India Programme on 19th October 2021 in the adopted village of Thuha to make people aware of the importance of cleanliness.

During this programme, Ms. Harinder Kaur (NSS Regional Director, Regional Directorate, Chandigarh), Dr. Neelam Verma (Programme Coordinator, NSS), school officers of different departments along with 500 NSS volunteers were present to ensure the smooth functioning. Snehil prayas under the department of NSS distributed over 150 shirts along with the Sarpanch of Thuha Village amongst the needy. What is it that you do to keep your neighbourhood clean?
