Chitkara University awarded the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) National Award for Excellence in Water Management

Chitkara University was awarded the prestigious Confederation of Indian Industry (CII)- National Award for Excellence in Water Management 2022 at CII’s flagship event ‘Water Innovation Summit’ held on September 29th, 2022, at Hotel Shangri-La Eros, New Delhi.

Chitkara University, Punjab was assessed and evaluated by an independent jury of National and International repute among a wide range of entries and awarded as The Winner in the “Within the Fence” category.

CII National Awards for Excellence in Water Management recognize the efforts of universities/institutions/industries towards making India’s water secure through various water conservation initiatives in areas of operations, innovation, or CSR activities.

The remarkable award for Chitkara University validates the dedicated and motivated efforts put in by the staff, especially team infra and maintenance for the wonderful water management initiatives carried out in line with the United Nations SDG.
