Professional working experience of over 31 years includes 18 years of practical experience at different capacities in Government offices as Architect & Urban Planner where worked at all levels of Physical development Plans- includes various buildings plans, residential area development plans, development plans of towns/ cities and14 years of full time teaching experience in which 2 years in Regional Engineering College (Now known as- National Institute of Technology), Calicut, Kerala, India and

12 years as Full Professor of Architecture & Urban Planning under United Nation Development Program (UNDP, UNO) @ different Universities of Ministry of Education,

Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, East Africa Where involved in Teaching, Research & Community Services; Teaching at all levels

i.e. at 1st degree (Bachelor), 2nd degree (Masters’) and 3rd /Terminal degree (PhD) levels. While working at Government Offices/ Organizations – also worked as

visiting faculty to various Architecture Schools/ Engineering Colleges.

• Planned largest mass housing project DGMAP Phase II of 69,385 dwelling units costing Rs 20,000 crores with reduction of 20% budget saving from original estimates.
• Conceptualized, planned and constructed 495 kms long NH 63 and 154 bridges connecting Naxal Infested states of Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra and AP.
• Revised and enhanced scale of amenities and outdated specifications of Married accommodation for Defence Personnel by taking up a case with Government of India resulting in better management and maintenance of properties.
• Registered with COA; Member of Institution of Military Engineers and Institution of Engineers
• Published Research Paper on Eco Friendly and Sustainable Building Construction Materials with special reference to Assam Rifles for Indian Building Congress and Eco Friendly Building Construction with Special Reference to DGMAP for National Level Seminar at CME Pune.

Rohtak,Gold Medallist) More than 21 years of professional experience in Architecture, Interior Design & Landscaping Projects in leadership roles &Provided consultancy to various govt. / semi-govt. & private organisations like CPWD, NHPC, HPPCL, H.P. Marketing Board & various Nationalised Banks including numerous prestigious projects comprising of Townships, multi-storied group housings, institutional & commercial complexes, hospitals, corporate offices, hotels & resortsetc.
Research Interests- Green Architecture, Energy efficient Landscape Architecture and Contemporary Architecture & Interior Design

• Research Interests- Sustainable Architecture, Urban Conservation, Aspects of Livability in Built Environments and Urban Design
