IN THIS UNIQUE 2+2 PROGRAM, STUDENTS COMPLETE THE FIRST TWO YEARS AT CHITKARA UNIVERSITY, STUDYING AN AMERICAN-STYLE CURRICULUM MAPPED TO ASU’S BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN COMPUTER SCIENCE (BS).

After two years, students can transfer to ASU to complete their degree, graduating with a globally recognised ASU degree. The program also offers specialisations in software engineering or cybersecurity, master classes with ASU faculty, and stem opt (optional practical training), allowing students to work in the U.S. for up to three years.

For those who choose not to transfer, the option to complete their degree at Chitkara University provides flexibility while ensuring a world-class education close to home.

In the 3rd and 4th years, students will have 3 tracks to choose from: They can opt to pursue the BS in Computer Science without specialisation, or they may choose from one of the two concentrations: Software Engineering or Cybersecurity.

This course includes a professional experience unit, where you will be required to undertake at least 30 to 60 days of practical work experience in an engineering workplace with assessment tasks designed to develop and enhance your understanding of the engineering profession, professional practice and continuing professional development, possible career outcomes, and the opportunity to establish valuable professional networks during your degree once you move to Australia.

Fee Structure at Chitkara University

A student will save significantly on international tuition fee during their two years of study at Chitkara university in India. The international fee will only be applicable when the student transfers to USA in the third year at ASU University
