Hospitality Students attend workshop on mixing Cocktails by Hyatt Regency Team, Chandigarh

Chitkara School of Hospitality organised a “Full Day Workshop on Stage Cocktails” for students of sixth-semester BSc Hospitality & Hotel Administration (H&HA). The workshop was conducted by Mr. Vikas Kharti, Supervisor-Outlets and Mr. Abhishek Pandey, Bartender for Hyatt Regency Chandigarh. Ambrosia, the Advance Training Restaurant, was set-up for the event and elaborate arrangements and activities were prepared for participants. The workshop began with Mr. Khatri’s brief about the history of cocktails followed by an interactive presentation of bar equipment and ingredients. Mr. Pandey demonstrated the recipes of the signature cocktails which were the most popular and high selling cocktails at “Stage” the bar at Hyatt Regency Chandigarh. Mr. Khatri and Mr. Pandey also demonstrated a few selected classic cocktails towards the completion of the workshop.

The workshop was highly interactive as all participants got an opportunity to see different ingredients first hand and also taste the cocktails which gave them a real-time experience and enhanced their understanding and learning.
