Empowering Future HR Leaders through Industry-Academic Partnerships

With a vision to bridge the gap between academia and industry, Chitkara University has formalised a dynamic partnership with the National Institute of Personnel Management (NIPM). This collaboration marks a significant step in enhancing the academic experience for MBA HR students by providing them with valuable industry exposure.

The MoU was signed by Dr Sandhir Sharma, Vice Chancellor; Harpreet S. Bhatia, Pro Vice Chancellor, Human Resources; Col Bikram Ahluwalia (Retd), Senior Director, HCRC, Chitkara University; Ravinder Chadha, Chairman, NIPM Punjab Chapter; and S.P. Bansal, Regional Vice President (North), NIPM.

Through this partnership, a series of activities will be organised, including workshops, conferences, study tours, and surveys, focusing on HRM, industrial relations, and labour laws. These initiatives will deepen students’ understanding of HR practices and foster a meaningful exchange of ideas between academia and industry.

This collaboration reinforces Chitkara Business School’s commitment to providing forward-thinking HR education while strengthening connections between students and the HR community.
