Dr. Madhu Chitkara awarded the “Outstanding Higher Education Leader 2020” at India’s Top 20 Women Leaders in Education 2020

Chitkara University’s Pro-Chancellor, Dr. Madhu Chitkara has been awarded as the “Outstanding Higher Education Leader 2020” at India’s Top 20 Women Leaders in Education 2020, held on November 27th, 2020.

The virtual event and award ceremony commended the stories of women who overcame adversity, commitments and accomplishments in the field of training. The occasion saw more than 100 nominations, in excess of 2000 enrollments and more than 50 schools participating and higher education organisations and eminent 30 speakers.

Guest of Honour was Ms. Anju Sharma, IAS, Principal Secretary, Higher & Technical Education, Government of Gujarat and Special Guest was Dr Neetu Bhagat, Deputy Director, AICTE.

There were three panels inboard conversations highlighting stalwarts in education who dug into different subjects relating to women’s initiative and strengthening and how women’s pioneers have helmed instructive organisations driving development and change in the area and the more extensive society.

This special edition of ASMA Education Leadership Conclave 2020 talked about the success stories of women leaders in education and also, some of the ways in which women can be a part or solemnly build successful organisations through innovative leadership.

Dr Madhu Chitkara expressed her views on various issues of education sector highlighting immense opportunities and challenges in the Education Leader Conclave.
