Chitkara University celebrated a moment of national pride and institutional glory as Devika Sihag, a BBA Third Year student, was felicitated with a ₹1,50,000 cash award by Hon’ble Pro Chancellor Dr. Madhu Chitkara Ma’am for her outstanding performance at the FISU World University Games 2025, held in Rhine-Ruhr, Germany from July 16–27, 2025.

Devika made history by representing India and securing the nation’s first-ever Bronze Medal in Badminton in the Mixed Team Event at this globally prestigious university-level sporting event. Her unwavering dedication, competitive spirit, and relentless pursuit of excellence brought laurels not just to the country, but also to Chitkara University.
