
Chitkara Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CCIE), Chitkara University, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Chandigarh Angels Network (CAN) to create greater opportunities for student and alumni entrepreneurs to engage with the investment ecosystem.
A key component of the collaboration will be quarterly pitching sessions for student startups working in deep-tech and artificial intelligence. The sessions will provide emerging founders with a platform to present their ventures to investors, interact with experienced professionals and gain insights into developing scalable and investment-ready businesses.
Chandigarh Angels Network brings a network of more than 70 investors, a portfolio of 46 companies and over seven successful exits to the partnership. The association will give Chitkara’s student founders an opportunity to gain direct exposure to investors and understand perspectives from the entrepreneurial and investment community.
The collaboration will also include structured mentorship, investor interactions and market-oriented perspectives. These engagements will help founders consider market validation, business models, scalability and long-term value alongside the development of their technology or ideas.

Through CCIE, Chitkara University brings together student innovators, alumni founders, mentors, industry experts and investors as part of its entrepreneurship ecosystem. The association with Chandigarh Angels Network adds a structured channel for emerging founders to engage with investors, particularly those working in deep-tech and artificial intelligence.
