Chitkara University to host India’s first ever Ivy League High School MUN Conference in August 2025
In a historic academic collaboration, Chitkara University is set to host India’s first-ever Ivy League Model United Nations Conference—ILMUNC India 2025—in partnership with the University of Pennsylvania and Big Red Education. Scheduled for August 8–10, 2025, this flagship event promises a transformative three-day residential experience for high school students from Grades 8 to 12.
The conference will be held on Chitkara University’s cutting-edge campus near Chandigarh. The conference will bring together over 1,200 to 1,500 of India’s brightest young minds. Guided by a delegation of 11 student mentors from the University of Pennsylvania, participants will immerse themselves in world-class simulations of global diplomacy, policy negotiation, and international relations.
More than just debate, ILMUNC India 2025 is designed to foster leadership, cross-cultural engagement, and critical thinking. With committee sessions modelled after real-world UN proceedings, keynote lectures, and curated cultural mixers, the conference will create an unmatched academic environment that blends rigour with inspiration.
As India rises as a hub of youth leadership and global engagement, ILMUNC India 2025 positions itself as a pivotal platform for nurturing tomorrow’s changemakers. This event is not just an opportunity—it’s an invitation to join a global movement in thought, dialogue, and diplomacy, right here in India.
