Chitkara University Joins Hands with Uno Minda to Develop Industry-Ready Engineers

Chitkara University has taken a significant step in bridging academia and industry by entering into a formal partnership with Uno Minda through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This collaboration marks a strategic initiative aimed at equipping students with the technical expertise and practical skills required to thrive in dynamic industrial environments.

The MoU signing ceremony witnessed the presence of prominent dignitaries, including Dr. Cavita Taragi, Pro Vice Chancellor, Career Advancement Services (CAS); Dr. Shivani Malhotra, Dean, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering; Dr. Vijay Jadon, Dean, Academics, CUIET; Dr. Arrik Khanna, Dean, Electrical Engineering; Derrik Philip, Director, CAS; and senior leaders from Uno Minda, including Pran Ranjan, Senior Vice President HR, and Rucher Mehta, Vice President HR. Their participation underscored the shared commitment of both institutions to fostering meaningful industry-academia engagement.

Under this partnership, Uno Minda will design and deliver a specialised certification programme that will empower students with advanced technical knowledge and practical industrial skills. The programme will be jointly conducted by Uno Minda’s domain experts and Chitkara University’s experienced faculty, ensuring students gain exposure to real-world applications while reinforcing academic concepts.

The collaboration is set to provide students with unique opportunities for hands-on learning, skill development, and a deeper understanding of industry standards and practices.
