Chitkara University Powers Eduthon 5.0 Redefining Education Through AI and Humanity

EDUTHON 5.0, held at JW Marriott, Chandigarh, emerged as a landmark summit where the worlds of technology, creativity, and education converged to shape the future of learning. Organised by TRINITi and powered by Chitkara University, the conclave brought together over 500 educators, edtech leaders, principals, teachers, and artists from across India, reaffirming EDUTHON’s standing as one of the nation’s most influential educational platforms.
This year’s theme, AI Meets Humanity, addressed the vital question of how artificial intelligence can be harnessed to enhance, rather than replace, the human essence of education. The summit featured panel discussions, fireside chats, masterclasses, performances, networking opportunities, and a book launch, ensuring a rich exchange of ideas and perspectives.
Speaking at the summit, the pro-chancellor of Chitkara University, Dr. Madhu Chitkara, emphasised the role of institutions in preparing learners for a future shaped by both innovation and compassion. “Education must evolve with technology, but its foundation will always remain human values. At Chitkara University, we are committed to nurturing students who are not only future-ready professionals but also empathetic leaders who can drive meaningful change.”
Adding to the dialogue, Dr. Niyati Chitkara, Vice President of School Education, Chitkara Educational Trust, highlighted the role of schools in building adaptable and resilient ecosystems. She remarked, “We endeavour to equip students not just to adapt to the world, but to shape it with creativity and confidence.”
Celebrated voices from diverse fields further enriched the event. Roshan Abbas, creative entrepreneur and storyteller, underscored the importance of storytelling in education, while actor and author Sandhya Mridul spoke passionately on mental health and the well-being of students. TRINITi’s Founder – Director Ankur Malhotra framed the summit as a crucial step in balancing technological advancement with the core values of human connection.
EDUTHON has achieved a new milestone, entering the India Book of Records (IBR) for hosting the “Largest Gathering of School Leaders for the Future of Education with AI”, an achievement that reinforced the summit’s stature as a movement of national significance.
EDUTHON 5.0 not only created a dialogue but also ignited a vision, a vision where education becomes a space of innovation, inclusivity, and transformation. For Chitkara University, the summit marked another step in its mission to champion thought leadership and support initiatives and platforms that inspire educators, empower students, and shape the global discourse on learning.
