World Youth Day 2015 Celebrated by Chitkara School of Hospitality

H’ble Prime Minister of India, Mr. Narendra Modi took the initiative to celebrate it pan India by involving all youth of the country.

We, at Chitkara School of Hospitality celebrated it with all the passion by involving the students in different workshop and competition.

There was a workshop on “Vegetable Carving and plate presentation” where students learnt the art of carving and their presentation. The workshop was conducted Chef Sandip and Chef Santosh

A “Rangoli Making” competition was organized in which many students participated and showed their colourful skill in making beautiful Rangolis.

Abhishek Mahajan, a 3rd semester student of B.Sc. HMCT topped the competition where as Parth Nakra, 3rd semester student of B.Sc. H&HA bagged the second prize.

A mocktail competition was also organized in which participants learnt some tips on “Mocktail Making” and further they tried their hand on honing up their skills. Manmeet Singh was winner and Manik Kapoor was runner up of the competition, both from 3rd semester B.Sc.
