Workshop on trauma care in nursing, nursing simulation

Chitkara University organised a workshop on trauma care in nursing, nursing simulation. The workshop was organised in association with INSCOL Academy on the occasion of International Nurses Day. During this workshop, Prof. Kris Voyecey, Professor Georgian College and President, College of Nurses, Ontario, took the session on ‘Trauma care on nursing’.

The session also saw discussion of case studies scenario with the students. Ms. Yvonne Galbraith, Nursing Simulation Expert, Georgian College, Ontario, took the session on virtual simulation and simulation simplified and various CCU scenarios with students. It was indeed a wonderful learning experience for the students and faculties. Such events are carried out with an intention to give industrial exposure not only to our students but also to our faculty.
