Workshop on Software Project Development

Department of Computer Applications carried out a workshop on Software Project Development. The workshop explored the ideas, values, principles and practices of Software Project Management, and was intended to teach the application of various methodologies to real projects.

Students were divided into groups and were made to design an SRS and use case diagram on a given project scenario. The participants explored the various nuances of software project through discussions, activities, projects and more.

The performance of the students was judged by Dr. Jaiteg Singh, Associate Professor, Department of Computer Sciences and Mr Vikrm Mangla, Dy. Dean, Department of Computer Sciences. The conveners of the workshop were Ms. Deepika Chaudhary, Program In-charge, CA department and Mr. Jaswinder Singh, Assistant Professor, Computer Applications Department.

A group of 84 participants, who were the students of ‪‎BCA‬ fourth Semester, made it a grand success, as it proved helpful to the participants in terms of learning in depth about software project development.
