Voters’ Day quiz for Chitkara students

It is important for us to make our students not only able professionals but good citizens. For this, Chitkara University ensures to carry out timely activities that convey the importance of our duties and responsibilities towards the country as adults. Moreover, it is important to fulfill our basic duty of selecting the right government to ensure smooth functioning of the government machinery.

Facts state that about 40 per cent of our population is eligible to vote and they can be the harbinger of change, hence bringing about a positive impact but not everyone who has the right to vote go for voting. Seeing the importance of voting, Chitkara University carried out a quiz on Voters’ Day.

The quiz was an event where the students were asked questions based on voting.

The winners for the quiz are as follows:

First position
Pranav Miglani – CSE second semester
Raghav Sharma – CSE second semester

Second position
Abhay – MJMC second semester
Rhythm – MJMC second semester

The quiz proved to be of extreme importance for the students as they came across various facts that they were unaware of until now.
