Students of Chitkara School of Mass Communication win back-to-back Media Fests

It was surely a win-win situation for students of Chitkara School of Mass Communication as they were declared overall winners in two media fests, one after the other.

Our students won overall trophy on 24 Feb 2014’ in Bonjour, an event organised by Department of Journalism and Mass Communication of GNDU Amritsar, followed by Communis, an event organised by Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, Doaba College Jalandhar, on 25 Feb 2014.

Our students managed to outshine others on two consecutive days at Jalandhar. Students participated in various events that were conducted at the fests like dubbing, radio jockeying, report writing, news reading, piece to camera, etc.

CSMC students, who won prizes in various categories are:

News Reading: Ashina Anand
Radio Jockey: Satyam Nanda
Report Writing: Ravisha Ranga
Dubbing: Sandeep Kaur
Piece to camera: Aanchal, Aproba

Our students managed to perform exceedingly well in other events like Visual Adv and Choreography also. The students thanked their staff and faculty for giving them timely and proper guidance and making them experience field projects at regular intervals for getting the feel of ‘field work’ in media. Chitkara University congratulates all the winners and wishes them best of everything for their future.
