Toastmasters’ Club gets ‘Distinguished Club Award’ by the Toastmasters International Headquarters, USA
Success is the sum of all the efforts repeated day in and day out and Toastmasters International Club at Chitkara University has well proved this fact by achieving the prestigious “Distinguished Club Award” by the Toastmasters International Headquarters, USA.
The Club was awarded the same earlier for the session 2013-14 and this time too, its outstanding performance has captured international attention and lived up to the expectations of the club as a whole.
Public speaking is one of those skills that a student needs to stand out among others and this skill improves through practice and Chitkara University’s Toastmasters’ Club is dedicated to making our students feel confident.
Carrying out activities that help students overcome stage fear are a regular with the club and a dedicated team of students and staff is working designing new strategies everyday to inculcate public speaking. The efforts have been acknowledged before and they are appreciated even now. We hope that the club excels the way it has been doing and we congratulate it yet again for this feat.
