Three students win gold medals in Table Tennis at Jaipur

There was no time to lose and guts were needed to make a shot. Congratulations to our students Shubham Bansal from CSE fourth year, Shivin Gupta from CSE third year and Siddharth Samotra from B.Pharm fourth year for winning the gold medal in table tennis during the annual sports fest “Desportivos’18” at LNMIIT Jaipur.

There were several competitions lined up for the participants and though it was a tough call to make but our students outshone all with their hard work and dedication. Shubham, Shivin and Siddharth smashed it hard to win the much coveted gold medal at the sports fest. They have added a feather in our cap amidst several other laurels and it is welcome with open arms.

Standing tall at 7 foot 2, he’s was there to acknowledge the efforts, the determination, the commitment, the discipline and the self-confidence of every sportsman.

Desportivos’18 had Satnam Singh, the first player of Indian origin to be drafted into the NBA, to honour the champions and Chitkara students accepted their appreciation proudly.
