Apart from learning the nuances of Indian system of learning and acquiring knowledge, students from Glasgow are also drenching themselves in the Indian culture. Girl students are learning to drape the typical nine yards and more.

The students from Glasgow Caledonian University had a unique interface with Indian culture.

The session opened with the video of the silent National Anthem, followed by a brief snapshot of our diversity, which was also exhibited with the help of the visual of ‘Mile Sur Mera Tumhara’. Thereafter they were acquainted with the rich heritage and culture of the nation.

To make them familiar with various art forms a glimpse of a classical dance piece of Tandav Nritya was shown to them and concluded on the melodious notes of ‘Vande Mataram by A.R. Rahman.’

The students were enthralled as they embraced the essence of the country and walked with a sense of belonging to India.
