Renowned media educator from USA interact with CSMC students

Students of Chitkara School of Mass Communication got a chance to interact and learn from Mr. Frank W. Baker, a renowned media educator from the USA.

Mr Baker delivered a Guest Lecture on Media Education to students in which he highlighted various aspects of the subject.

Mr Baker runs MLC, Media Literacy Clearing House, and conducts workshops throughout the world for students and professionals. He has spent 25 years in the profession of TV/ PR and is a researcher.

He advocated about media literacy and considered that as an audience we must be aware about the kind of content in media that we are exposed to. His lecture was backed up by a slide show and was educative.

Mr Baker expressed a keen interest in the CSMC curriculum and visited radio and TV studio of the school, along with Radio Chitkara. He gifted one of his books on Media Literacy to the School’s library.
