NSS volunteers celebrate Lohri at Orphanage, spread festive cheer among less fortunate

Department of Computer Applications, Students & Faculty, under the aegis of National Service Scheme (NSS), visited the All India Pingalwara Charitable Society, Village Palsora, Chandigarh. During their visit, NSS students of BCA/MCA celebrated Lohri Festival with the specially abled sharing love, warmth and smiles, among the residents of the orphanage, which is home to more than 120 special citizens.

A team of 72 student volunteers, with their mentor Ms. Vandana, spread smiles and spent quality time with all the residents of the orphanage. As a part of the festivities, students gave a melodious flavour to the celebrations as they sang, danced, served lunch and distributed goodies to orphanage habitants.
