NSS Team Marks NSS Day with Visit to Old Age Home in Rajpura

The National Service Scheme (NSS), in collaboration with Chitkara Business School, Chitkara University, visited an old age home on the occasion of NSS Day as part of its community outreach activities. The visit focused on engaging with elderly residents through direct interaction and shared time.

During the visit, students spent time with the residents, listening to their life experiences and engaging in conversations. Group activities were organised to encourage participation, and small goodies were distributed to the elderly, adding a tangible element to the interaction. The engagement offered students insight into ageing-related social realities while providing companionship to the residents.

The visit reflected the NSS program’s focus on community engagement through direct, people-centred initiatives carried out by students and faculty.
