New batch of Mass Communication welcomed to a whole new world of eminence

It was time for our budding journalists to kick start an eventful tenure of their lives with Chitkara School of Mass Communication’s Orientation Ceremony. The event was initiated to welcome new students of BA (Journalism and Mass Communication) batch 2014-17 and MA (Journalism and Mass Communication) batch 2014-16 at Pulitzer Hall.

In her address Dr Madhu Chitkara, Vice-Chancellor, Chitkara University, reminded the media students that they should follow the dictums of journalism and always lay stress on truth and accuracy. There was no place for sensationalism in the media world, she warned. The students were introduced to the Media School as also the facilities available in the University. Dean, Dr. Ashutosh Mishra gave the outline of programme and introduced the students and parents with faculty and staff. Vice Presidents RS Gill talked about general conduct and

Ms. Harkiran Kaur gave an overview of International assignments and collaborations of the University.
