National Network Security Championship in collaboration with ACM student chapter

National Network Security Championship was organized by ACM Student Chapter, Chitkara Department of Computer Sciences, Chitkara University, in collaboration with ACM, IIT Delhi, and Network Bulls – the largest Cisco lab in Asia.

This workshop on networking was conducted by Cisco Certified Trainers and witnessed a huge participation from enthusiastic students not only from Chitkara University, but also from other reputed surrounding Universities and Colleges of the region.

The two-day workshop focused on live practical demonstration on real Cisco devices. The students learned about various networking topics like routing, sub netting, super netting, IPv4 and IPv6, application layer protocols, switching, amongst other essentials of networking. A championship was conducted at the end of second day. Sanil, Sidharth Bhatia and Savdesh Virk from Chitkara University qualified for the final round of the championship to be held at IIT, Delhi.

The participants of the event found the championship extremely interesting and useful and stated that they look forward to more such events at Chitkara University.
