MBA Healthcare students interact with Cindy Harrison

It was an event filled with knowledge and more as Ms. Cindy Harrison, Vice-President Human Resources, Henry Ford Health System, with nearly 40 years experience in heading HR in a multi specialty hospital, visited Chitkara University, to speak to the MBA Healthcare students as well as MBA HR students.

She provided an overview of the strategies, which work for a high retention culture in the healthcare industry and then shared the case study of both Chelsea Community Hospital as well as Henry Ford Healthcare Hospital of the role HR played to keep the organisation among the best healthcare industry in the entire USA.

Previously she was the vice-president, chief human resources officer, and patient experience officer at Trinity Health Corporation’s Chelsea (Michigan) Community Hospital.

She also served as president and board member of the American Society for Healthcare Human Resources Administration (ASHHRA) and president of the Healthcare Human Resources Association of Southeastern Michigan.

Ms. Cindy has been honoured with the following awards:
ASHHRA, Distinguished Service Award, President’s Award, Cleary University, Lifetime Contribution by a Member, HHRA, Outstanding Contribution to the Association by an Individual, HHRA.
