International glory for Chitkara University as Sudhanshu Maini wins Double Bronze in Brazil

Chitkara University celebrates the outstanding achievement of Sudhanshu Maini, a first-year BBA student, who brought international laurels to the university by securing two bronze medals at the World Table Tennis Youth Contender held in Brazil from June 8 to 11, 2026.

Sudhanshu competed against some of the world’s top young table tennis players at the World Table Tennis Youth Contender, winning Bronze in both the Under-19 Singles and Under-19 Mixed Doubles categories. The double-medal result is a rare achievement for a first-year student competing at this level.

Representing both Chitkara University and India, Sudhanshu demonstrated exceptional skill, determination and composure throughout the tournament.
