Chitkara University, Punjab, embraced the tranquilly of Yoga Day with a serene Yoga and Meditation Session held at the Indoor Stadium in the Sportorium Block. Organised by the National Service Scheme (NSS), the event attracted a diverse group of participants, including Dr. S.C. Sharma, Registrar of Chitkara University, along with Pro-Vice Chancellors, Deans, Directors, faculty members, staff, and students, all united in their commitment to well-being and holistic development.

The session was expertly guided by Mr. Pradeep Yogi, a respected yoga practitioner, who led participants through a sequence of rejuvenating asanas. Mr. Yogi’s instructions, delivered with precision and calm, created an atmosphere of unity and peace as participants, dressed in comfortable attire, followed his lead with attentiveness and grace. The synchronised movements and mindful breathing exercises fostered a deep connection between the participants and their inner selves, allowing them to fully embrace the serenity of the moment.

A notable highlight of the session was a demonstration by four dedicated students—Pratham Malhotra, Anurag, Payal, and Adya—who have been learning under Mr. Yogi’s guidance since the beginning. Their poised and fluid execution of each posture was a testament to their dedication and skill, leaving a lasting impression on the attendees. The elegance and discipline displayed by these students served as an inspiration, encouraging others to deepen their own yoga practices.

The serene setting of the indoor stadium, enhanced by soft lighting and soothing background music, further contributed to the meditative ambiance.
