Elecrama Club’s Initiative Brings Faculty and Students Together in Style
The Elecrama Club of the Electrical Department, in collaboration with the University Sports Board, hosted an engaging and vibrant event, “Strive and Thrive,” aimed at fostering camaraderie, healthy competition, and active engagement between faculty and students. The event, held amidst an atmosphere of enthusiasm and teamwork, brought together participants from across the department for a day filled with fun and spirited interaction.
“Strive and Thrive” featured three exciting activities: Foosball, Darts, and Masters of the Pitch, a friendly cricket match. Each game encouraged participants to showcase their skills, precision, and teamwork, emphasising the importance of collaboration and sportsmanship.
The Foosball competition witnessed spirited battles, with faculty members Vishal and Gaurav Kalia emerging as champions among the faculty, while Partiyush and Gursimrat Singh triumphed in the student category.
In the Darts competition, precision and focus were on full display as Arrik Khanna secured the top spot among faculty, while Sidarth Sood claimed victory in the student category.
The highlight of the day was the cricket match, “Masters of the Pitch,” where the student team from the Electrical Department demonstrated exceptional teamwork and determination to claim victory over their faculty counterparts.
“Strive and Thrive” not only provided a platform for showcasing talent but also strengthened the bond between faculty and students, creating a sense of unity within the department. Events like these reinforce the holistic approach to education, blending academic excellence with extracurricular engagement.
