The will to win, the desire to succeed, the urge to reach your full potential, these are the keys that will unlock the door to personal excellence as said by “Confucius” and aptly fits in is Dr. Sandhir Sharma, Dean Chitkara Business School. Dr. Sharma was invited to the University of Applied Sciences, Osnabruck, Germany for teaching “Strategies in Action” during Block Week from May 7th to 14th May 2017.

Education is the bedrock of Chitkara and International Academia is swirling around this bedrock. Following this lead, the University takes pride in its faculty and their global experiences as part of an evolving education system.

University of Applied Sciences, Osnabruck, is one of the prime academic partners of Chitkara University. There has been an active exchange of students and faculty between Business Schools of both the universities. The session was highly appreciated by the students. Dr. Sharma visits UAS, Osnabruck, every year for teaching the Block Week Session.
Starting from the basics of strategic planning, Dr. Sharma enhanced that action planning typically includes deciding who is going to do what and by when and in what order for the organization to reach its strategic goals. The design and implementation of the action planning depend on the nature and needs of the organization. He went on to explain that strategic planning is an organizational management activity that is used to set priorities, focus energy and resources, strengthens operations, ensures that employees and other stakeholders are working toward common goals. His sessions at the university proved to be full of information for the students.

Dr. Sandhir, indefatigably, with charm and wisdom, has carved a niche in the world of Academia under the patronage of Chitkara University.
