Dr Madhu Chitkara delivers a keynote on ‘She Means Business’ at TiECON Chandigarh 2018

“The only thing that matters is how good you are at your work, gender biasness does not come in question at workplace” said Dr Madhu Chitkara, Vice-Chancellor, Chitkara University, while in a conversation with Mr Jyoti Kamal, Senior Editor, CNN News18 during a special women panelled session ‘She Means Business’ in TiECON Chandigarh 2018 at ISB, Mohali.

She stated that she remembers the sleepy nights and immense hard work she put in to make Chitkara University a reality but the buck did not stop there as she had to work hard to make it what it is today and continues to pursue her passion of educating the world.

Present at the session was honourable Minister for Finance – Punjab – Mr Manpreet Singh Badal, Mrs India and several other noted women entrepreneurs, who made things a reality and are pursuing their passion today, along with nurturing loving families.

The event was conducted to support the spirit of being a woman and to acknowledge the hardships a woman faces as she proceeds ahead in life. The women present at the event talked about their journeys, which proved as a learning example for all present.
