Chitkara University registers presence at National Education Policy Pavilion
Hon’ble Dr. Madhu Chitkara, Pro-Chancellor, Chitkara University, expressed her views on ‘Education, Skills and Changing Social and Life Realities’ at a panel discussion organised by ASSOCHAM at the NEP Pavilion, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.
Dr. Madhu Chitkara, also the co-chairperson of ASSOCHAM National Education Council, emphasized that to meet the aspirations of the young population and keep the global economy moving, the focus should shift from job seekers to job creators. She stressed the need to encourage new ideas and involve young minds in decision-making to effectively fill the space.
Dr. Chitkara supported her statement with the success of the Chitkara Innovation Incubator Foundation (CIIF) incubated startup Chai Nagri and the empowerment of women in villages supported by Chitkara University. Towards the end, she expressed her optimism that the industry-academic partnership is on the right track and will gain pace in the coming times. She also interacted with various stakeholders at the National Book Fest.
