CSMS organized an advertising quiz “Brand O’ Holic” sponsored by Uber

“Brand O’Holic” was organized on 13 October 2016 by students of Chitkara School of Mass Communication who have opted for specialization in Advertising in their BAJMC and MAJMC final year. It was sponsored by UBER. It was a University Level Inter-School quiz on advertising in which around 150 students participated. The quiz was based on awareness regarding the Ad World and the questions were asked with the help of audio-visual shows which were centered around brand recalling and creativity. Mr. Chetan Sood, Dean, School of Art and Design, was the judge for various rounds.

Akashdeep Mishra, student of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) department won the first prize for the online competition of logo making. Team `Maggie’ represented by Himanshu and Bhavya from Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) bagged the first position in a quiz. Rajesh Chandran and Saurabh Kumar representing School of Sales and Retail Marketing won the first prize in staff and faculty category. An exhibition prepared by the students, which was a part of the event, was appreciated by the visitors.

The event started with Treasure hunt in which students had to bring the wrappers of different brands which were hidden in the university campus. The money collected by students’ registration will be distributed to organisations which are working in the field of the social cause.
