Computer Centre at CHEEKA

MOU was signed on 8 December, 2010 between Punjabi Welfare Society, Cheeka and Chitkara Educational Trust for six month basic computer training course under “Mission Outreach”. This agreement is based upon the commitment to promote free of cost, charitable, need based education for underprivileged section of the society. Gautam Malik, Assistant professor in Mechanical Engg and Harvinder Singh Assistant professor in Mechanical Engg played an active role in starting this venture. Harvinder Singh is the Nodal officer for looking all the correspondence with the Punjabi Welfare Society. The preference is given to the underprivileged sections of the society. Till date more than 350 students have undergone training at the centre.
