M-Lense Research Pvt. Ltd. has developed PaperPro – a paper-based, one-time-use, disposable thin card that can detect 14 types of milk adulterants instantly. It is state-of-the-art technology with three separate layers, including powdered crushed reagents and enzymes, micro-capillaries, and surface pipes. The product has an indication meter that shows the level of adulterant, too. It is easy to use; no chemical knowledge is required; no testing skills are required, and no laboratory setup is required.
Having mentioned that, over 2.2 million people, including children, die across the world due to severe diseases and deadly cancers that happen due to adulteration in milk. PaperPro will help detect the level of adulteration in milk and avoid the consumption of unfit milk that may critically harm human health.
