Chitkara University’s Pathikadarsh Sriwal secures podium finish at Chandigarh State Junior Powerlifting Championship
Chitkara University continues to celebrate sporting excellence as Pathikadarsh Sriwal, a third-year B. Pharm student, clinched 2nd place in the 66 kg category at the Junior Men Powerlifting Championship, organised by the Chandigarh State Powerlifting Association on 4th May 2025. Competing against some of the region’s strongest athletes, Pathikadarsh showcased exceptional strength, technique, and determination throughout the event.
His impressive performance was marked by outstanding lifts across all three disciplines — a 170 kg Squat, 112.5 kg Bench Press, and 205 kg Deadlift — underlining his rigorous training and competitive prowess. His total lift earned him a well-deserved podium finish and widespread recognition from both peers and organisers.
In a remarkable achievement, Pathikadarsh has also secured selection for the National Junior SBD (PI) Championship, set to be held in Maharashtra, furthering his journey on the national stage.
