Chitkara University Strengthens Global Ties with Woosong University, South Korea
Chitkara University, through its Office of International Affairs, was honoured to host a high-level delegation from Woosong University, South Korea, reaffirming its commitment to fostering meaningful global partnerships in higher education. The visiting delegation included Haechurl Park, Dean, JW Kim College of Future Studies; Yu Jin Nam, Brand Sales Head Manager, Digital Campus; and Mayank Vig, Senior Regional Manager – International Relations (India, Sri Lanka & Middle East).
The delegation was warmly received by Vineet Tuli, Pro Vice Chancellor – Global Partnerships, and Hazel Siromoni, Pro Vice Chancellor – International, along with the dedicated team from Chitkara University’s International Office. The visit marked a significant step in strengthening the academic bridge between India and South Korea.
The discussions focused on expanding student mobility opportunities, with an emphasis on launching Summer and Winter Schools and Semester Exchange Programs. These initiatives are designed to promote cross-cultural learning, enhance global exposure, and enrich academic experiences for students from both institutions.
