Chitkara University Strengthens Global Ties with Leading Italian Universities at IDOHE
Chitkara University reinforced its commitment to global academic collaboration by participating in the Italian Days of Higher Education (IDOHE) 2025, held at the Embassy of Italy in New Delhi. The event provided a platform for leading Indian and Italian institutions to explore opportunities for academic cooperation, research initiatives, and student and faculty exchanges, strengthening the foundation for meaningful international partnerships.
Representing Chitkara University, Dr. Hazel Siromoni, Pro Vice Chancellor, Office of International Affairs, engaged with key officials, including Sergio Ledda, Scientific Attaché, and ArkaPrabha Biswas, Coordinator, Uni-Italia India Offices, Embassy of Italy. Discussions centered on fostering collaborative academic programs, facilitating student mobility, and enabling faculty exchange initiatives to enhance research and innovation on a global scale.
IDOHE 2025 convened representatives from nine prestigious Italian universities, including Bocconi University, LUISS Università Rome, University of Padova, Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, IULM University, IUAV Università Venice, NABA, Istituto Secoli, and Politecnico di Torino. These institutions brought a wealth of expertise in fields ranging from business management and design to technology and applied sciences, creating avenues for interdisciplinary collaboration.
Dr. Siromoni showcased Chitkara University’s academic ethos, highlighting the university’s focus on innovation, experiential learning, and the integration of emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence into its curriculum. She emphasised the university’s dedication to preparing students for global careers while fostering an environment of research, creativity, and knowledge exchange.
