Chitkara University signs MoU with Welzo Research & Development

Chitkara University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Welzo Research & Development Pvt. Ltd. to provide undergraduate and postgraduate students of the Chitkara School of Pharmacy with opportunities for industry exposure, project internships, dissertations, research and development and placements.

The collaboration will enable students to engage with pharmaceutical industry practices through experiential learning and gain exposure to professional and research-oriented work at Welzo Research & Development Pvt. Ltd. The MoU also provides avenues for students to undertake academic projects and dissertations in an industry setting.

Dr. Madhu Chitkara, President and Co-Founder, Chitkara University, said, “Academic-industry collaborations provide students with opportunities to connect their classroom learning with professional practice. This association with Welzo Research & Development will support such engagement through internships, research and industry exposure for students of the Chitkara School of Pharmacy.”

The association brings together academic learning and industry engagement across internships, research and professional opportunities, providing students with avenues to develop their understanding of the pharmaceutical sector and apply their academic learning in an industry context.
